Case Study:
Building Hope in Ukraine

Introduction

Building Hope in Ukraine was developed to support orphanages and vulnerable communities across central Ukraine through coordinated humanitarian and communications-led initiatives.

Challenge

Many communities lacked consistent access to food, medical care, and educational support. At the same time, local organizations often had limited capacity in communications, branding, and fundraising, making it difficult to attract sustained support.

Solution

I founded and led Building Hope in Ukraine, a nonprofit focused on delivering direct aid and building long-term donor engagement. This included fundraising campaigns, partnership development, and sustained on-the-ground engagement across multiple regions. I also developed the organization’s brand identity, communications materials, website, and donor engagement strategy to strengthen visibility and support.

Result

The organization delivered ongoing food and medical aid to vulnerable communities and supported children through targeted care initiatives and programs. Communications and fundraising efforts helped establish a consistent network of supporters and enabled sustained operations across multiple regions in Ukraine.
