Public Awareness Campaign • Strategic Communications • Humanitarian Communications • Ukraine

Partners: International Organization for Migration (IOM), anti-trafficking advocates, community organizations

Introduction

This campaign addressed human trafficking risks faced by young women in Ukraine through a public awareness and prevention-focused communications initiative developed with humanitarian partners.

Challenge

Human trafficking is a complex and often hidden issue. The campaign needed to communicate sensitive information clearly, build awareness of trafficking tactics, and provide accessible pathways to support.

Solution

I contributed to the development of a public awareness campaign focused on visual storytelling, clear messaging, and prevention education. The campaign included posters, informational materials, and outreach assets designed for distribution through schools, orphanages, and community organizations. Messaging emphasized awareness of risk indicators and access to support resources.

Result

The campaign provided a structured framework for public awareness and prevention communications. It supported broader anti-trafficking efforts by translating complex issues into accessible messaging designed to inform and engage at-risk populations.
